i am gareth, i am 18 years old and have a passion for magic as i am a magician [ask about this, i love talk to people about it] and philosophy [lets have a debate?]
i hope to combine both of these in september when i move to london to study philosophy at kings university while trying to make a name for myself on the "scene" i have a lot of thoughts that need recording
i have a feeling these blogs will be an irritating mixture of undiluted brilliance and contentious dribble

water water everywhere, just not enough time to drink it all…

but why would you want to drink h20 when you’ve got beautiful energy drink to consume - that has consisted as my staple liquid for the past few days…after the last series of posts i have been mega tired so drank kick or some other equally vulgar equivalent and enjoyed its tasted - now i’m hooked on the stuff! dirty little cycle!

i have kind of hit that easter hump, it’s occured the last 2 years when i seem to find something new, and want to do that instead of what i’m currently planning to do… last year it was an offer to study medicine in liverpool, took another year of college and got into king’s to do philosophy now i’m not sure if i want to do that - what sort of validation do i need before i actually commit to stuff? im just so full of energy without the focus.

i have numerous projects up in the air, but it seems i cant do them without dropping a few others but when im considering which ones to drop more crop up - its overwhelming [/whine]

i can’t complain what with them people losing their jobs and what not, im fairly happy i’ve got a place at a good university (allbeit not the grandiose highs of oxford, but i never cared for it much always prefering to live in london) i have a lovely little girlfriend (i realising publishing that fact will alienate about 90% of my market, sorry ladies) who i think is fab, i have an easy job with alright money and i’m pulling my finger out with the magic! trouble is all i can see is the negative side of each these things - the thing i’m going to take from this realisation is just focus on the postive, the now, the stuff we can change not the past or what other people are doing or have done because if you spend time worrying about that you kind of forget to enjoy the now, and that f’s up your future.

i think i’ll leave it there, on that beautifull optimistic note.. i may try to make my blogs more news orientated in future.. perhaps one news one/one personal one, who knows - the sky’s the limit!
